Hello, my name is Bonnie-Blue and I was born and raised in Los Angeles. As a Visual Artist and Designer, I am always looking for a new challenge. Currently, I work full-time as a Graphic Designer at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), but after office hours, I can be found working on ceramics, streaming The Criterion Channel, doing pilates, or cooking up a tasty lil dish in my kitchen.
I earned my BFA in the History of Art & Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Studying art history alongside my studio practice gave me a broad range of techniques, concepts, and solutions to draw from. Art & film history continue to inspire my work today. As I keep kickin’ on this planet, I want to continue to expand my skills to work as a motion designer and/or creative director in the arts and entertainment industry.
Fun fact: I was raised by a fun-loving family of musicians and named after the singer, Bonnie Raitt; hyphenated with “blue” because mom loved Janis Joplin’s version of Nina Simone’s “Little Girl Blue”.
I currently live in Los Angeles, holler.
